I am a self-taught sensory artist who enjoys creating interactive tactile pieces to explore the reframing of simple joys as tools for healing through presence. My work invites recontextualisation of objects and experiences: connecting to ourselves and nature via the senses to rediscover what it means to welcome embodied living.
As a neurodivergent maker living with long-term illness, disabilities and c-PTSD, creating art anchors me through the days and provides an accessible way to participate in the world. Making gives me a space to regulate, process, explore and heal by maintaining connection to my inner and outer environments. It is my hope that by sharing what I make, I can provide a healing space for others.
